Paul and I went to see some stones that were found in Indian mounds just outside Newark, Ohio in 1860. These stones are very controversial because they have Hebrew writing on them. Nothing like them has been found in the mounds. They are probably forgeries, but many people believe that they are real and prove that the mound dwellers were part of the Lost 10 Tribes. It was fun seeing them.

  1. Very interesting! Do you know when they were found? Do they believe it's all there or do they continue to look for more?
    Love it...

  2. These stones were found in November 1860 and were immediately controversial because of the Hebrew writing. There has been considerable researce on the stones and it is most probable that the stones are fake (but no one can be completely sure). People continue to study and look into the mounds, but nothing like this has been found.
